Bhagawathi Nature Camp
Bhagawathi Nature Camp is located inside the Kudremukh National Park. The camp offers a great starting point for many treks with great incamp birding and herping. It is 11 kms away from Kudremukh.
Experiance
It is a limitless mosaic of golden grass lands, studded in rims of dark green sholas, held aloft by verdant evergreen rain forests which look like sky islands. It is also an important catchment area where three important rivers Tunga, Bhadra and Nethravathi originate. Surrounded on all sides by equally enchanting forests, coffee, cardamom and areca grove fields, the park truly offers endless pleasure to any visitor looking for nature at its best. The steady humming sounds of cicadas from deep inside the jungle and the melodious bird calls mix harmoniously with the giggling of streams and soft sounds of perennial rivers to create that perfect aura.

- All request for cancellation of confirmed booking have to be received through email or in writing if booked at our office in Mumbai.
- 10% of the tariff, if cancelled two or more than two weeks before check in date/time.
- 50% of the tariff, if cancelled between 48hours to two weeks before check in date/time.
- No refund if cancelled less than 48hours before check in date/time.
- One postponement / Preponement is free if requested two or more than two weeks before check in date/time (Once postponed /preponed there is no further change or cancellation).
- 10% of the tariff, if requested between 48hours to two weeks before check in date/time.
- 50% of the tariff, if requested within 24hours to 48 hours before check in date/time.
- No modification, if requested within 24 hours to check in.
Travel Tips
- Dress for comfort. Do avoid bright colours and stick to muted shades of green, black, grey and brown. The more you meld with the background, the better.
- Wear comfortable walking shoes.
- Avoid smoking – anything can start a forest fire.
- You’ll be spending a lot of time outdoors. Don’t forget your hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, torch, etc.
- Avoid plastics. We’re really trying to cut down on plastics.
- PETS ARE STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED
- Since there is a connectivity issue, no electronic payment is possible and only cash payment is accepted.
Route Map
How to Reach:
- There are overnight buses from Bangalore to Kalasa, Samse and to Kudremukh. Please check KSRTC for timings.
- Bhagavathi camp is around 11 Kms from Kudremukh on the Kudremukh-Karkala road.
- The public transport is sporadic and the stop at the Bhagavathi camp is not consistent.
- Alternately you could hire a jeep taxi. Details below
- Mini cab, indica, beat and swift Rs.1400 single, round trip is Rs. 2500 Large Cab; trax 15 seater, sumo or innova Rs. 1600 round trip rs. 3200
- Vehicle from Karkala only Mini cabs or Innova standard rate, Rs. 2500 round trip Rs. 5000.
