Chardham Yatra Uttarakhand, also known as the Char Dham, is a four-part pilgrimage tour of Hindu religious sites in India. The Chardham Yatra Uttarakhand takes you to the four holiest destinations of the Hindus: Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri It is believed that performing this tour purifies one's mind and soul from all earthly bonds and instills a sense of freedom. En route to these destinations, pilgrims also visit many other holy places which include Rishikesh, Haridwar, and many more.

Day 02 | Haridwar – Barkot (200 Kms Approx) | Today after breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Barkot. Evening arrival to Barkot check in at hotel. Dinner overnight stay at Barkot |
Day 03 | Barkot – Janki Chatti – Yamunotri – Jankichatti – Barkot / 40 + 40 Kmsdrive / 6 + 6 Trekking Approx | Today early morning drive to Janki Chatti to visit Yamunotri Temple. On arrival to Janki Chatti the base point of Yamunotri, book Pony & Palki services from here (Own Cost). If you are fit enough you can do trekking also, quite a stiff trek. Arrival to Yamunotri visit the holy temple of Goddess Yamuna (3120m), present temple was built by Maharani of Jaipur Gularia Devi in 19th century. Natural hot water springs around the temple are main attraction for pilgrims. After the pooja / darshan return journey to Janki Chatti and drive back to Barkot for overnight stay. |
Day 4 | Barkot – Uttarkashi (100 Kms Approx) | After breakfast checkout from hotel and proceed to Uttarkashi, on the way visit Prakateshwar - Mahadev temple near Brhamkhal. On arrival to Uttarkashi (1158m) check in to hotel, in evening visit Kashi -Vishwanath Temple. Dinner overnight stay in Uttarkashi. |
Day 05 | Uttarkashi – Gangotri –Uttarkashi (100+100 Kms Approx) | Early Morning 5: am proceed to visit Gangotri Temple (Breakfast packed). Along with Bhagirathi River the journey of Gangotri becomes a wonderful journey. Beautiful valleys, small rivers, waterfalls local villages, worth to visit over here. On arrival to Gangotri Temple (3050m) visit the holy temple of Goddess Ganga, pooja / darshan. The present temple of Gangotri was built in 18th century by Gurkha commander Amar Singh Thapa. After the visit over return journey to Uttarkashi for overnight stay. |
Day 06 | Uttarkashi – Guptkashi / Sitapur (290 / Kms Approx) | Today after early morning breakfast check out from hotel and proceed to Guptkashi / Sitapur. Evening arrival to Guptkashi / Sitapur transfer to hotel, after dinner overnight stay. |
Day 07 | Guptkashi / Sitapur – Kedarnath / Driving 35 / Trekking 16 Approx | Early morning 4:am checkout from hotel and proceed to Sonprayag the reservation counter for booking Pony & Palki services from here (own cost) for Kedarnath journey. After booking Pony & Palki take local shuttle Taxi services (own cost) to reach Gaurikund the base point of Kedarnath. Trekking route begin from here, On arrival to Kedarnath check in to hotel, after freshen up visit Kedarnath temple for evening Aarti Darshan. Overnight stay at Kedarnath. |
Day 08 | Kedarnath – Gaurikund - Sitapur / Guptkashi One Side Trek 16 Kms / Driving 35 Kms Approx | Early morning today 5: am visit the Kedarnath temple for Pooja/Darshan/ Abhishek. Amongst the 12th Jyotirlinga of Lord Shiva 11th is situated in Kedarnath. The ancient temple of Kedarnath was built by Pandavas and renovated by Jagat Guru Shankaracharya in 7th century. After breakfast checkout from hotel and trek down to Gaurikund 16km trek. On arrival to Gaurikund take shuttle Taxi services for Sonprayag (own cost) pickup & transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Sitapur / Guptkashi. |
Day 09 | Guptkashi / Sitapur- Badrinath (220 – 250 Kms Approx) | Today after early morning breakfast proceed to Badrinath, en route visit Narsingh Swami Temple at Josimath. In evening arrival to Badrinath (3400m), transfer to hotel after freshens up visit Badrinath Temple for evening Arati / Darshan. After the visit to the shrine come back to hotel, dinner overnight stay in Badrinath. |
Day 10 | Badrinath –Rudraprayag (170 Kms Approx) | Early morning 4: am today visit Badrinath Temple for Abhishek/ Alankar darshan. The present holy temple of Badrinath was built by Adi Guru Shankaracharya during 7th century. The main idol of Lord Vishnu is built of black stone known as “Salegram”. Before the visit of Badrinath temple one must take a holy dip inside “Taptkunda” a natural hot water spring situated outside the temple. After the darshan of temple also perform the pooja/tarpan outside the temple near Brhamkapal. After breakfast checkout from hotel drive to Mana the last village of India situated on Indo - Tibet- Border visit Ganesh Gufa, Beas Gufa, Bhimpool and Saraswati river. Later on proceed to Rudraprayag for overnight Stay. |
Day 11 | Rudraprayag – Haridwar (160 Kms Approx) | Today morning after early breakfast leave Rudraprayag and proceed to Haridwar. Evening at leisure. One can enjoy Ganga Aarti (at their own). Dinner overnight stay at Haridwar. |
Day 12 | Haridwar – Delhi-Indore | After breakfast checkout from hotel and drive to Delhi. On arrival drop to Airport to board your scheduled flight for further journey to Indore. Tour concludes with everlasting memories of Chardham. |
Other Notes:
· Pilgrims are advised to get their medical health check up done brfore proceeding for the yatra. Pilgrims with any medical condition shall consult with their doctors and proceed with booking as per doctor’s advise accordingly. Pilgrims are advised to keep the necessary medicines with them. · Pony Charges, Helicopter Charges & Palki Charges are not included in tour price. It has to be directly borne by the tourist. IRCTC will have no role in this.
· Above itinerary and Flight timings are only indicative, IRCTC and handling agent reserves the right to change in view of operation problem / local circumstances.
· Registration of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath to be done by passengers only.
· Some of the Treks, as per the itinerary, involve a continuous ascent of gradual and steep gradients which may be strenuous. Dandies (local Palanquin) and ponies are available and the charges will have to bear by the travelers/tourists.
· In case of onsite exigencies resulting in additional cost, Tourists will have to bear the cost as per local conditions.

- Guest opting for Helicopter ride will have to arrange their transfers from Hotel to Helipad and back at their own cost
- Cancellation charges as per company policy.
- Room categories in all packages are the base category rooms unless stated otherwise.
- Final confirmation in the proposed hotels is subject to the availability at the time of booking, else similar category hotel will be provided.
- Please reach the airport 3 hours before the departure of the flight. IRCTC will not be responsible for missing of flights by the guest.
- Kindly reconfirm the departure terminal and the flight schedule from the airline before leaving for the airport.
- Web check in is not possible in our group packages. Passengers are requested to do Web check in 48 hours prior to departure.
- Transfers and Sightseeing tours are on SIC (seat in coach) / shared basis by A/C vehicle.
- Arrival / departure transfers & sightseeing tours shall be provided as per schedule fixed by the hotel. However this may require you to wait at the airport for short duration until all the guests arriving at that time exit the airport.
- The request for an adjacent or an adjoining room will be on subject to availability.
- It is mandatory to carry the age proof for all passengers including infants along with other travel documents. Child above than 11 yrs shall be considered for an adult cost.
- In airline no seat is provided to Infant.
- Guest with physical disability should be accompanied by Family Members. Additional assistance like wheelchair may be arranged by the guest at their own cost on-site.
- Room allocation (Twin bed / Double bed) is at the discretion of the hotel. The check in and checkout time of the hotel is 12 to 12 noon. Numbers of meals are always corresponding to the number of nights booked.
- In hotels for an extra Adult / Child either Rollaway bed or mattress or sofa cum bed shall be provided.
- For early check in and late check out the payment is to be settled directly by the guest.
- Hotel has the right to claim the damages incurred by any of the guest.
- The guests are requested to take care of their personal belongings carefully and avoid leaving them unattended.
- The airfares and taxes are calculated as on a mentioned date and any increase in the Taxes or airfares will be borne by the customer.
- For any change in Flight Timings/diversions, Flight cancellation from the airline IRCTC will not be responsible and if it further affects the Sightseeing/Itinerary client need to accommodate accordingly.
- Cost of additional services availed by the guest which are not part of our package inclusions are to be settled directly at the hotel.
- Meals will be provided at fixed venue decided by the hotel. Timings: Breakfast: 0700 - 0900 hrs Dinner: 1930 - 2200 hrs. These are the standard buffet timings observed by the hotels. Still you are kindly requested to check the perfect timings at the time of check in at the hotel. Once the buffet time is over the hotel might ask you to pay for your meals.
- IRCTC request you that before finalizing the tour with us kindly go through the website of the hotels and read the reviews.
- Package cost is calculated on lowest class Air Fare. Any increase in air fare or air port taxes has to be borne by the client.
- Any Itinerary posted on the website is only a proposed holiday outline. The final itinerary may change prior to commencement of tour or during the tour.
- In case there is any change in price the same will be communicated to yourself and only after your confirmation, we will proceed further.
- There will be no refund for un-utilized services.
- The package Price is subject to change without prior notice.
- Above tour prices are subject to change in the event of increase in hotel room rates levy by the hotel especially during peak season / holiday surcharge and major events/ fairs and convention.
- Passenger should get full briefing about the tour from IRCTC before/after the booking to avoid any confusion.
- IRCTC is not liable for personnel expenses, boating, porterage, theft, accidents etc.
- Any other terms and conditions applied as may be decided by IRCTC at any point of time
Cancellation Policy:
For cancellation of your ticket, please log in to your account, select the Tour Confirmation Number of the ticket you wish to cancel and cancel your ticket from your booked history on line. Cancellation of your Ticket is possible only on the website www.irctctourismindia.com, and is not possible on PRS Counters. If the user wishes to cancel his ticket, cancellation rules are as under:

Note :-
1. Accepting the changed arrangements.
2. Cancelling or accepting the cancellation where you will receive a refund of the payment remitted to us. However, there will be no refund for any service such as pre/post accommodation, airline tickets, excursions, and extensions etc. that have been booked by you and/or your Travel Agent.
3. In case of a 'force majeure' situation due to which a departure has to be cancelled, we regret there would be no refund of the money paid to us or reimbursement of any additional expenses incurred by you as a result of our cancellation/ change.
30% payment at the time of booking will be required.
- On completion of the booking and payment formalities, a confirmation tour voucher will be generated.
- You will have to pay all bank charges.
- Balance 70% Payment one month prior to departure date.
SURCHARGES:
The prices shown are based on known costs and airfare at the time of tour launching the tour and IRCTC does not expect to have to make any changes. In case of unforeseen increase in national or local taxation or factors beyond control, IRCTC reserves the right to impose a surcharge or revise the tour cost.
FORCE MAJEURE:
In these booking conditions, 'force majeure' means any event which IRCTC / the supplier of the service(s) in question / the Third Party Supplier could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include disruptions/diversions of air services, floods, and earthquakes whether actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, disease, fire and all similar events outside the control of the party concerned.
We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our agreement with you is prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of, 'force majeure'.
OUR LIABILITY TO YOU:
IRCTC will not be responsible for any injury, illness, death, loss, damage, expense, cost or other claim of any description whatsoever which results from:
1.the act(s) and / or omission(s) of the person(s) affected or any member(s) of their party; or
2.the act(s) and / or omission(s) of a third party not connected with the provision of your arrangements and which were unforeseeable or unavoidable; or
3.any service or facility not arranged by us as part of our contract with you; or 'force majeure' as defined above.
We do not accept liability for:
1. Any damage, loss, expense or other sum(s) of any description which, based on the information you gave us at the time of booking, we could not have foreseen you would suffer or incur if we breached our contract with you;
2. Any business losses.
3. Excursions or other tours or any other travel services taken and paid for by you which have not been provided by us whilst you are on our tour. In such instances, your contract will be with the operator / supplier of the excursion or tour or travel services and not with us.
CONDITIONS OF TRAVEL:
You will have to strictly follow the tour program. There would be no refund if you fail to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or join the group later or leave the group before culmination of the tour for any reasons whatsoever. You are responsible to register with the representative of the Company at the appointed date, place and time and you would be treated as a no-show if you fail to do so. Under no circumstances would any refund be given for any unutilized services. You shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to other co-travelers or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property of the Company, co-travelers or others. In this event, you may be asked to leave the tour immediately. The Company shall be under no liability to any such person.
