IRCTC launches Vaishno Devi with Amritsar Rail tour package for 07 NIGHTS and 08 DAYS Ex. Howrah.

A pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji is considered to be one of the holiest pilgrimages of our times. Popular the world over as Moonh Maangi Muradein Poori Karne Wali Mata, which means, the Mother who fulfills whatever Her children wish for, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji resides in a Holy Cave located in the folds of the three peaked mountain named Trikuta (pronounced as Trikoot). The Holy Cave attracts millions of devotees every year. In fact, the number of Yatris visiting the Holy Shrine annually now exceeds one crore. This is due to the unflinching faith of the devotees who throng the Shrine from all parts of India and abroad.

The Holy Cave of the Mother is situated at an altitude of 5200 ft. The Yatris have to undertake a trek of nearly 12 km from the base camp at Katra. At the culmination of their pilgrimage, the yatries are blessed with the Darshans of the Mother Goddess inside the Sanctum Sanctorum- the Holy Cave. These Darshans are in the shape of three natural rock formations called the Pindies. There are no statues or idols inside the Cave.

Tour Itinerary:-   Howrah - Vaishnodevi - Amritsar - Howrah
 

Day 01(Saturday): Howrah to Jalandhar
Departure from Howrah Railway station by train no.12331 at 23.55 hrs for onward journey to Jalandhar.

Day 02 (Sunday): On Train
In train journey.
 

Day 03 (Monday): Arrive Jalandhar and visit Wagah Border
Arrive Jalandhar Cant Railway station at 08.40 hrs, transfer to hotel for check in and freshen-up. After freshen-up proceed to visit Wagah Border. Dinner and Overnight stay in hotel at Amritsar.
 

Day 04 (Tuesday): Amritsar s/s and transfer to Katra
After breakfast breakfast and check out from hotel and proceed to visit Golden Temple & Jalianwala Bagh. Later depart to Katra. On arrival Check in to Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
 

Day 5 (Wednesday): Darshan of Mata Vaishnodevi
After breakfast proceed to Vaishno Devi Temple (on your own) for Darshan and evening return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
 

Day 6 (Thursday): Shivkhori - Jammu drop
Early Morning after refreshment check out and proceeds to Shiv Khori. Shiv Khori is the Holy Cave and abode of Lord Shiva. Shiv Khori is situated at a distance of 70 Kms from Katra town. The cave is a real wonder to be seen and measures nearly half a kilometer in length with a 4 feet high naturally formed Shiv ling. After the divine darshan of Lord Shiva , drop Jammu Railway Station at 20.00 hrs to board the train no 12332 at 22.45 hrs for return journey.
 

Day 7 (Friday):  On Train
In Train Journey.
 

Day 8 (Saturday):  Reach Howrah
Arrive Howrah Railway Station at 11.30 hrs. Tour End with Sweet memories

Package Inclusions:

• Train Ticket to & fro in 3AC Class. (Berth position and preference are not applicable).
• Hotel accommodation for night stays as per itinerary.
• Meal Plan MAP (03 Breakfasts + 03 Dinners).
• Vehicle for transfers & sightseeing on SIC basis.

Package Exclusion:-

• Escort services during tour.
• No station transfers at Howrah. Clients have to arrange Howrah station transfers by own. There will not be any IRCTC representative at Station.
• Lunches at all day, only halt will be given at convenient place to have lunch on direct payment.
• No transportation from down to till Mata Vaishnodevi shrine.
• Train food (Breakfast, Lunch , and dinner)
• Any portage at hotels, tips, mineral water, telephone charges, laundry and all items of personal nature.
• Any Still / Video Camera fees, entrance fees for monuments and any activities suggested in the itinerary are chargeable direct.
• Any additional meals / en route meals, sightseeing and activities other than those mentioned in the itinerary.
• Any service not specified in inclusions.

6. Room categories in all packages are the base category rooms unless stated otherwise.
7. Final confirmation in the proposed hotels is subject to the availability at the time of booking, else similar category hotel will be provided.
8. Category of the vehicle will be decided as per the group size. 
9. Most of the hotels provide twin bedroom, double bedroom is subject to availability. Wherever extra bed has been stated it means only matters / rollaway bed. 
10. Check-in and Check Out time in hotels is 12 noon. Although we take due care that check-in is provided early and late checkout is permitted, under unavoidable circumstances, check in/check out may have to be maintained as per Hotel Policy.
11. Heart & blood pressure patients, pregnant women, persons suffering from physical problems, senior citizens etc need to be cautious while traveling and should be accompanied by someone. 
12. All sightseeing places are subject to time availability and schedule running of trains.
13. Payments pertaining to early check- in, late check-out, items consumed in Room Mini bar and any extra services of hotel other than mentioned in the package are to be settled at hotel directly by the guest.

IRCTC is not liable for missing of one or more services as per the itinerary due to late running of trains. Tourists should strictly adhere to the timings failing which IRCTC will not be liable for missing of any service including sightseeing and return train. If the tourists miss the vehicle arranged by IRCTC at any place, they should reach the next place of the itinerary on their own.
Tourists should take care of their personal belongings and luggage. IRCTC is not liable for losses or thefts. 
 

• Check-in and Check Out time in hotels is 12 noon. Although we take due care that check-in is provided early and late checkout is permitted, under unavoidable circumstances, check in/check out may have to be maintained as per Hotel Policy.
• IRCTC reserves the right to cancel the Tour Programme at any point of time arising out of various exigencies beyond its control. In such an event, maximum liability of IRCTC shall be limited to the Package Amount paid by the guest.
• The package price is as on date of booking. However, in case of increase in input costs such as railway fare or any other expenses beyond the control of IRCTC, the guests are liable to pay the additional amount before commencement of journey.
• IRCTC reserves the right to change the itinerary due to unavoidable circumstances, including but not limited to, bad weather, train delays/cancellations etc. Under such circumstances, IRCTC shall make best alternative arrangements guest are liable to pay any additional costs for making such arrangements. IRCTC shall not be responsible for any loss of sight-seeing, visits to planned sites in the itinerary.
• IRCTC doesn't guarantee to cover all the places of interest/monuments mentioned in the itinerary, if missed by guest no refund will be initiated by IRCTC.
• Seat allocation in trains is done in a random manner and IRCTC shall not entertain requests for any preferential seat allocation.
• It is mandatory to carry the identity proof provided by the client at the time of booking .The other passengers travelling need to carry a valid photo id card during the package tour. The valid Photo ID Card are Aadhaar, Voter id card, Passport, Driving Licence, PAN Card, Credit Cards with Photo, Cards issued by Central/State Government and Student ID cards with photo issued by School/College for their students.
• Tour is subject to operation in case minimum booking of 2 passengers on twin/single/triple fare is received.
• While we take due care in keeping the information on these pages updated, train timings, hotel rules, opening & closing hours at monuments/museums/parks/gardens/shrines and sites mentioned in the itinerary etc. may change and may not be updated on the pages. IRCTC does not take any responsibility for such changes. There will be no refund for un-utilized services.

You will have to strictly follow the tour program. There would be no refund if you fail to join the group at the commencement of the tour, or join the group later or leave the group before culmination of the tour for any reasons whatsoever. Under no circumstances would any refund be given for any unutilized services. You shall not behave in a manner which may cause distress or annoyance to other co-travellers or which may create the risk of danger or damage to property of the Company, co-travellers or others. In this event, you may be asked to leave the tour immediately. The Company shall be under no liability to any such person.

SURCHARGES:

The prices shown are based on known costs and exchange rates at the time of tour launching and IRCTC does not expect to have to make any changes. In case of unforeseen increase in national or local taxation or adverse fluctuation in currency exchange rates, affecting the cost structures of your journey, IRCTC reserves the right to impose a surcharge or revise the tour cost.

Force - Majeure ‘Force majeure' means any event which we / the supplier of the service(s) in question / the Third Party Supplier could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. Such events may include disruptions/diversions of rail services, floods, earthquakes, whether actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, actual or threatened terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, disease, fire and all similar events outside the control of the party concerned. We cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance or prompt performance of our obligations under our agreement with you is prevented or affected by, or you otherwise suffer any damage or loss as a result of, 'force majeure'. Conditions of Travel Guest has to strictly follow the tour program. Under no circumstances would any refund be given for any unutilized services.

Payments and Confirmation:

• On completion of the booking and payment formalities, a confirmation tour voucher will be generated.
• You will have to pay all bank charges.
• The IRCTC reserves the right to decline your booking for any Tour or to cancel your booking without assigning any reason.
• 30% payment at the time of booking will be required and 70% payment one month before departure.
